The RSM Classic has been an event on the PGA Tour since 2010. Originally called the McGladrey Classic, RSM US became the title sponsor in 2015, renaming it the RSM Classic. This tournament is the final official PGA Tour event of the calendar year and will be contested on both the Plantation and Seaside Courses at Sea Island Golf Club.
The tournament scoring record was set by 2023 champion Ludvig Aberg at 29-under. Last year, defending champion Maverick McNealy defeated three golfers by one stroke to win his first PGA Tour title.
About Plantation and Seaside Golf Courses
The Seaside Course plays just over 7,000 yards as a par 70 and the Plantation Course plays just over 7,000 yards as a par 72. The golfers will alternate golf courses on Thursday and Friday, with the final two days being played solely on the Seaside Course. The course record of 60 at Seaside has been hit by three different golfers.
Sea Island Golf Club is part of a resort that lies along the coast of Georgia and offers luxurious views and amenities to the players.
Who to Watch at the 2025 RSM Classic
The field is highlighted by Harris English, Brian Harman and Daniel Berger. We predict Bud Cauley will earn his first career PGA Tour win. He has finished T25 four times at this event, including last year. He hasn’t played in a month, so he’s rested and ready to win for the first time.
