The Sanderson Farms Championship has been an event in Mississippi on the PGA Tour since 1968. Sanderson Farms has been the title sponsor since 2013, and the event has been played at the Country Club of Jackson. It was played at Hattiesburg Country Club and Annandale Golf Club before moving to its current site.
This event used to be played opposite majors or limited field events. Since 2019, it is now a regular PGA Tour event in the FedExCup Fall series. Former notable winners are Payne Stewart, Roger Maltbie, Luke Donald, Sergio Garcia and Sam Burns. In the last three years, the winner has been decided with playoff holes. The tournament score record is 24-under, set by 2012 champion Scott Stallings.
