The 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship is the fourth of eight FedExCup Fall events that finalize eligibility for the 2027 PGA Tour season.

This is the eighth playing of the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, with all of them hosted at Port Royal Golf Course. Each of the seven previous winners of this event were three or more strokes behind after the opening round en route to victory.

In last year’s tournament, Adam Schenk earned his first career PGA Tour win by defeating Chandler Phillips by one stroke.

“Just good to get back, relive some of the memories, remember some of the shots back on the course, so I’m excited for this week,” Schenk said.

About Port Royal Golf Course

Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda, plays just over 6,828 yards as a par 71. This golf course is the shortest on the PGA Tour, but that doesn’t mean it’s easy. The weather plays a huge factor, actually making it the 14th most difficult course out of the 49 courses played on tour in 2025.

The 18-hole course record is held by Taylor Pendrith, Wesley Bryan and Alex Noren at 61 (-10).

Who to Watch at the 2026 Butterfield Bermuda Championship

The field is highlighted by five previous champions: Brendon Todd (2019), Seamus Power (2022), Camilo Villegas (2023), Rafael Campos (2024) and Schenk (2025). Two of the sponsor exemptions are Miles Russell and Mason Howell.

Russell is the sixth-ranked amateur in the world and has made two cuts in seven PGA Tour starts (best result: T39 / 2026 U.S. Open). Howell was the 2025 U.S. Amateur champion and is a freshman at the University of Georgia. He’s looking for his first cut on the PGA Tour in 10 starts.

We predict Power will earn his second career win at this event. He has played the event six times, made the cut every time and has four top-25 finishes and a win. In his last two starts, he has finished T7 and T21.
