The Dubai Invitational is a new, biannual pro-am event played by 60 professional golfers and 60 amateurs. The amateurs play alongside the professionals for the first three rounds, with only the professionals playing in the fourth round.
This will be the second playing of this event—Tommy Fleetwood won the inaugural Dubai Invitational over Thirston Lawrence and Rory McIlroy in 2024.
“I played really well here two years ago,” said Fleetwood. “I enjoyed playing with Rory in that last round. And winning is always cool. I had the family there. It was amazing.”
This event is the first in the International Swing on the DP World Tour, which is split into five different global swings.
About Dubai Creek Resort
Dubai Creek Resort in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, plays just over 7,000 yards as a par 71. This golf course is the second-oldest golf course in Dubai and opened in 1993.
The eponymous Dubai Creek comes into play on four holes, including the 17th and 18th fairways where it runs down the entire left side, presenting a major challenge. Lee Westwood and Darren Clarke hold the course record of 63.
Who to Watch at the 2026 Dubai Invitational
The field is highlighted by Fleetwood, McIlroy and 2018 Masters champion Patrick Reed. We predict David Puig will earn his second career DP World Tour title.
