The LPGA continues its Asian swing this week at the HSBC Women’s World Championship. This is the tour’s second of three events being held in Asia. The tournament will be held at Sentosa Golf Club, Tanjong Course, in Singapore. This is the 18th playing of the HSBC Women’s World Championship.

New Zealand’s Lydia Ko looks to defend her title after her four-stroke victory at Sentosa Golf Club last year.

The Tanjong Course at Saratosa Golf Club is a par 72 playing 6,793 yards. The tournament’s purse has increased by $600,000 from $2.4 million in 2025 to $3 million in 2026.

Who to Watch at the 2026 HSBC Women’s World Championship

This week, nine of the top 10 players in the Rolex Rankings are expected to play. The only player absent from the field in the top 10 is American Nelly Korda.

World number one and last week’s winner, Jeeno Thitikul, will be in the field this week looking for her second win of the season. Thitikul says she needs to take it week by week on tour.

“I just set it out on my side, and then what I have to do is do my job because like new week, and every reset. Everyone has equal opportunities to be able to win the tournament, right?” she said.

Lydia Ko is looking to build off a successful season last year, with a win and five top 10s. After her fifth-place finish last week and a T4 in the first event of the season, she is confident heading into this week.

I feel like I have a lot of good momentum coming into this week. Obviously, every week is a new week, and every golf course is different. So you just have to adjust accordingly,” she said.
