The Qatar Masters has been played on the DP World Tour since 1998. This event is one of six that the DP World Tour plays on the Arabian Peninsula. Haotong Li defeated Rasmus Neergaard-Petersen by one shot to win the 2025 Qatar Masters.

About Doha Golf Club

Doha Golf Club plays just over 7,500 yards as a par 72. Keeping the ball in play is important as there are eight lakes throughout the golf course waiting to wreak havoc on the golfers. The tournament scoring record is 268 (-20) by 1999 champion Paul Lawrie and two-time champion Adam Scott in his 2008 victory. Scott also holds the course record, having shot 61 (-11) during the final round of his 2008 victory.

Who to Watch at the 2026 Qatar Masters

The field includes Niklas Norgaard, Patrick Reed and Calum Hill. We predict Reed will pick up his second win of the 2026 season. He won two weeks ago at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and lost last week in the three-man playoff at the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship.

It will also be fun to watch Padraig Harrington compete in his 500th DP World Tour event. Harrington said, “500 appearances isn’t something you envisage or plan for but it’s nice to get there. I’ve probably played close to 800 tournaments in my 30-year professional career. I started a bit later than most people because I didn’t turn pro until I was 24. I’m happy to be out here playing on the DP World Tour and I’m still enjoying it.”
