The Turkish Airlines Open has been played on the DP World Tour since 2013. After a five-year hiatus, the tournament made its comeback last year in 2025. This is the last event of the Asian Swing portion of the schedule. The three leading DP World Tour members at the close of the Asian Swing will qualify for the 2026 PGA Championship at Aronimink Golf Club in May.
In the 2025 Turkish Airlines Open, Martin Couvra defeated Jorge Campillo and Haotong Li to earn his first career DP World Tour win.
About National Golf Club
National Golf Club plays 7,287 yards as a par 72. David Feherty and David Jones designed the golf course in a pine and eucalyptus forest. The narrow tree-lined fairways and precision-demanding greens will challenge the players’ ball-striking ability. Bernd Ritthammer set the course record or 66 (-6) in 2014.
Who to Watch at the 2026 Turkish Airlines Open
Couvra will look to defend his title against a field that includes David Puig, Jayden Schaper and Dan Bradbury.
Couvra said, “The expectations I feel are more intense. I want to do the same things as last year of course but I just want to do the same thing as every other week.
“It is pretty cool to be defending my first title. I am going to enjoy it a lot. I did a lot of pretty good things, a lot of bad things. It was a great experience for me and I just want to reflect on the year and perform from it.”
We predict David Puig will win his second career title on the DP World Tour. In three of his last five DP World Tour starts, he has finished top 3, including a win at the 2025 BMW Australian PGA Championship.
