The Ladies European Tour continues its Australian stretch this week at the Women’s Australian Open. This is the tour’s third of four tournaments in Australia in February and March. The tournament this week will be held at Kooyonga Golf Club in Lockleys, Adelaide, Australia.
Korea’s Jiyai Shin is not in the field after her victory at Kingston Heath Golf Club and Victoria Golf Club in 2024. This is the first year the Women’s Australian Open is an LET event since 2016.
Kooyonga Golf Club is a par 72 playing 6,281 yards. The tournament’s purse is AU$1.7 million.
Who to Watch at the 2026 Women’s Australian Open
Last week’s winner, Kelsey Bennett, is in the field this week. Bennett claimed her first win on the LET last week at the Australian Women’s Classic, and is currently in first place in the tour’s Order of Merit.
England’s Caley McGinty is a player to watch this week after her runner-up finish last week. She currently sits in fourth place in the Order of Merit after starting in two events this season.
McGinty turned professional in 2024, after her graduation from Ohio State University. She does not have any professional victories but has four victories as an amateur.
