CON.STRUCT redefines traditional golf clothes by mixing traditional colors and patterns with modern designs. This ensures that their fabrics are authentic, carefree and timeless– whether worn for play or social outings.
CON.STRUCT uses four-way stretch fabric with UV 50+ protection and anti-microbial properties to ensure durability and high performance. The brand also uses recycled materials and renewable solar energy to boost its sustainability.
In a bid to invest in the golf industry, CON.STRUCT launched its Green Collection during the 2023 PGA Show in Orlando. The collection features bottoms, polos, quarter zips, vests, and windbreakers that cater to golfers.
As CON.STRUCT Green returns to the 2025 PGA Show, Fairway to Green’s Maina Francis spoke with VP of Sales Paul Doherty about the brand’s collection and future plans.
Maina Francis: What inspired you to launch CON.STRUCT Green, and how is your apparel different from other golf clothes?
Paul Doherty: CON.STRUCT’s is a brand under AW Chang Corporation, which has been in the fabric creating and printing business for over 35 years. It was natural for us to create a golf brand. What makes us different is:
- We use recycled fabrics in everything we do.
- Our prints are unique to us as they are developed in-house by our design team.
- Our fit is also unique to us. The polos are meant to be worn untucked—they are cut shorter than a traditional golf polo, giving a clean appearance when untucked.
- Being a vertical company, we cut out the middleman so we can then give strong margins to our partners.
MF: What fashion trends or designs do you plan to include in your line in 2025 and beyond?
PD: We plan to continue expanding our design trends with more tonal conversational pieces, which have become somewhat unique to us.
This means more allover prints that tell great stories— think unexpected designs like our Flying Pigs and Hot Dog polo we have out right now.
We’re excited to push boundaries with fun, imaginative pieces that challenge traditional expectations and keep our collections fresh and exciting.
MF: Do you plan to use golf influencers to grow your brand? If so, who could we possibly see wearing your apparel on tour?
PD: Our major collaboration is with Lion Gold, who, interestingly, is a popular pickleball player and teacher. Our products work not only for golf, but also for pickleball and other active sports.
Our goal in the future is to have more major golf influencers wear our product. We can’t say too much yet but know that some big things are coming!
