Keegan Bradley defeated Tommy Fleetwood and Russell Henley by one stroke for the Travelers Championship title and his eighth career win.

Fleetwood shot 63 (-7) on Saturday to take control of the tournament. He started the day off in a three-way tie for first with Scottie Scheffler and Justin Thomas at 9-under. But Thomas shot 73 (+3) and Scheffler shot 72 (+2) to fall out of contention, leaving Fleetwood with a three-shot lead going into the final round.

Fleetwood struggled from the beginning on Sunday, bogeying three of his first four holes. After the first nine holes, Fleetwood and Bradley were tied at 14-under after Bradley made an electric 64-foot birdie putt on the ninth hole.

Fleetwood regained a two-stroke lead after birdieing the 11th and 13th holes. On the 15th hole, Bradley made a 36-foot birdie putt to get within two strokes. Fleetwood bogeyed the 16th hole after his tee shot flew over the green, meaning he was only leading by one as the group reached the 17th tee box.

Both Fleetwood and Bradley found the fairway on the 18th. Fleetwood had 135 yards in and changed his club at the last minute from a 9-iron to pitching wedge. His shot came up short at the front of the green, while Bradley hit his 9-iron to just under six feet for a birdie look. Fleetwood three-putted, putting the pressure on Bradley to sink his putt for the win. After seeing Fleetwood’s putt roll on a similar line, Bradley stepped up and sank the birdie putt to win the Travelers Championship for the second time in three years.

Fleetwood is a seven-time DP World Tour Winner and has six runner-up finishes on the PGA Tour but no PGA Tour wins. He has 42 top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour, the most of any player without a win since 1983. He is the all-time leading money winner without a PGA Tour win, with earnings of just over $30 million.

The next stop on the PGA Tour is Detroit Golf Club, where Cam Davis will be looking to defend his title and win the Rocket Classic for the third time in his career.
