The Procore Championship is the first event of the FedExCup Fall series. This event has been played since 2007 in Arizona and California. It has been known as the Fry’s Electronics Open, Frys.com Open, Safeway Open and Fortinet Championship until Procore became the title sponsor in 2024.
The event moved to Silverado Resort’s North Course in California in 2015 after three years in Arizona at the CordeValle Golf Club in San Martin. The inaugural event back in 2007 was won by Masters Champion Mike Weir; other notable winners are Max Homa (2021, 2022) and Sahith Theegala (2023). The tournament record score is tied between Theegala and 2020 champion Stewart Cink at 21-under.
About Silverado Resort’s North Course

The North Course is one of two golf courses at the Silverado Resort and Spa. It hosted the Kaiser International Open from 1968 to 1976 and the Anheuser-Busch Golf Classic from 1989 to 2002.
Who to Watch at the 2025 Procore Championship
The field has 10 of the 12 Team USA Ryder Cup members in it as they prepare for Bethpage Black at the end of the month. The last four champions – Patton Kizzire, Theegala and Homa – are also teeing it up in Napa. Look for Ryder Cup team member Justin Thomas to win the tournament.
