Golf Like A Girl provides women and girls with the opportunity to learn and play golf. Through free lessons with LPGA Professionals and access to free equipment, Golf Like A Girl has a mission to inspire 1,000,000 girls to try golf by 2030. Their apparel line, sponsors and donors all help contribute to their goal of getting 1,000,000 girls involved in the game of golf.
Whether it’s mother-daughter lessons or women specifically working to get onto the golf course for business meetings, Golf Like A Girl ensures each woman and girl feels confident. One girl, who joined a lesson with her mother, found “that one lesson sparked a love for the game, leading to private lessons with Tory and giving her confidence, joy and a sport she now calls her own.”
One woman, who hadn’t played in more than 20 years, saw her son on the driving range and happened to snag a lesson with Golf Like A Girl. “The experience reignited her confidence and strengthened her family connection through golf.”
With the inclusive and judgment-free environment that Golf Like A Girl creates, many women are able to turn their intimidation into confidence, their nerves into excitement. Golf Like A Girl is the first step to getting more women on the course.
Fairway to Green’s Nathan Rarick had the opportunity to talk with Founder of Golf Like A Girl, Tory Kronschnabel.
Nathan Rarick: What inspired you to found Golf Like A Girl?
Tory Kronschnabel: Women are often excluded from important conversations on the golf course. I started Golf Like A Girl to change this. I want women to feel confident on the course—confident enough to crush the ball and close the deal. We want to create a welcoming, inclusive space where women and girls can learn the game, build confidence and join conversations that too often happen without them.

NR: What is your background in golf?
TK: I started golfing with my dad when I was 7 years old and began teaching at 18. This year, I became an LPGA Professional.
NR: Why is it important for girls and women to play golf and have access to instruction?
TK: Business happens on the golf course. For many women, golf can feel intimidating to join. By offering free instruction and equipment to use, Golf Like A Girl makes the game not only accessible, but also exciting and fun to learn.
NR: What is the brand’s overall approach to golf instruction?
TK: Golf for women, taught by women. All of our instructors are LPGA-trained, using the LPGA’s student-centered teaching model.
NR: What types of lessons does Golf Like A Girl provide?
TK: We offer Mother-Daughter Lessons and Women in Business Lessons. Any mother-daughter duo or women 18+ for women in business can participate in the lessons.
