Girrbach bogeyed three of the first four holes on the back nine to fall three shots behind Penge, who birdied the 12th hole to get to 15-under. Brown bogeyed the 12th and then birdied the 13th, 15th and 18th to tie the lead at 15-under.

Penge and Brown went to the 18th hole for the playoff. Penge birdied the first playoff hole to capture his third win of the DP World Tour season. With this win he is officially qualified for the Open Championship and Masters next season.

After learning he qualified for the Masters, Penge said, “It’s crazy. It’s a golf course that I’ve always wanted to play, because I feel like my game sets up really good for it.”
