Linn Grant has a one-shot lead over Jennifer Kupcho after three rounds at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican.
Grant shot a bogey-free round of 5-under-65 to give her the 54-hole lead for the second time in her career. Last time she held that lead was in her only career LPGA win at the 2023 Dana Open. She leads the field in greens in regulation, having hit 50/54 thus far. Grant had this to say about heading into Sunday’s final round with the lead.
“I think my record is pretty solid. I would say out of the wins I’ve had I’ve been leading going into the last day. But anything can happen. I’m expecting other players to play well and thinking that I need to up my game and do at least the same as today.”
Kupcho also shot a bogey-free 65 on Saturday to trail the leader by one. In every one of her four career wins, Kupcho has had the lead or been one shot behind the leader entering the final round.
Grace Kim, who shared the lead with Grant after two rounds, shot a third round of 68 (-2) that included five birdies and three bogeys. She now sits tied for third with Nataliya Guseva at 11-under. Guseva shot the low round of the day with a 7-under-63 to put herself into contention and the final pairing. She birdied 7 of her final 10 holes to shoot her lowest career round on the LPGA Tour.
Also of note today was Brooke Matthews’ round, which included 11 birdies and only 3 pars. She ended the day with a 64 (-6).
The players have one more round to play their way into the top 60 in the Race to the CME Globe. The players in the top 60 will play in the CME Group Tour Championship next week in Naples, Florida. Players who finish in the top 100 in the Race to the CME Globe will keep their LPGA Tour status for 2026.
Tee times for the third round start at 7:00am ET with players going off the first tee. You can watch starting at 1:00pm ET on the NBC Sports App and 1:30pm ET on the Golf Channel.
