Linn Grant shot a final round 65 (-5) to win the Annika driven by Gainbridge at Pelican by three shots over Jennifer Kupcho.

After her round on Saturday of 65 (-5), Grant started the final round with a one-stroke lead over Kupcho. The Swede held a three-stroke lead over Grace Kim and Nataliya Guseva. Her one-shot lead was more than enough, and throughout her round on Sunday, Grant never lost the lead to the field. This is Grant’s second career victory, with her other win coming at the 2023 Dana Open. Grant says this season hasn’t been what she was looking for.

I think for myself this season has been personally quite disappointing up until now,” she said. “I said in some interviews that golf is such a vicious game, and how one day you believe you can win everything, and then the next you don’t believe in yourself at all. I think today was just a win for me.”

LPGA Legend and tournament host Annika Sorenstam congratulated Grant on her win. With Grant’s win, she becomes the 29th different winner on tour this season. Sorenstam commented on the depth of the tour.

It’s been an interesting year on the LPGA. I think after ’24 I don’t think people thought what we’ve seen this year would be what it is. It shows the depth of the tour. I think we’re in a little bit of a transition between some players and generations,” she said.” It’s interesting to see the young players coming up and establishing themself here.”

With her win, Grant earned $487,500 in prize money and 500 points in the season-long competition, Race to CME Globe. She moves into 21st place and will be in the field next week. Nataliya Guseva, Lucy Li and Brooke Matthews moved into the top 60 and next week’s Tour Championship after their performances this week.

Miyu Yamashita clinched the 2025 Louise Suggs Rolex Rookie of the Year award after her finish of 68th this week. She is the third Japanese player to win this award since it was introduced.

Pre-tournament favorite Nelly Korda finished at T15 this week and extended her made cuts streak this season to 18.

Amateur Kai Trump finished in last place this week after rounds of 83 (+13) and 75 (+5). Sponsor invite Lauryn Nguyen missed the cut as well, but the third sponsor invite and amateur, Anne-Sterre Den Dunnen, played all four rounds and tied for 56th at even par.

The LPGA Tour will conclude its season next week at the CME Group Tour Championship at the Ritz Carlton Golf Resort in Naples, Florida. The top 60 players in the Race to CME Globe rankings will compete for the title and the $11 million prize pool.
