Patrick Reed picked up his fourth career DP World Tour win at the 2026 Hero Dubai Desert Classic. He defeated Andy Sullivan by four shots to secure his first DP World Tour win since 2020.

Reed’s four-shot lead was down to just two after a front nine with eight pars and one bogey. David Puig birdied three straight holes to cut Reed’s lead to one, but the Spaniard recorded three bogeys and a double bogey in his final eight holes to fall out of contention.

The 2018 Masters Champion recorded his only birdies of the final round on the 10th and 13th holes to extend his lead back to four. Five straight pars to close his round secured his first career Rolex Series win.

Sullivan’s final round got off to a rough start with four bogeys on the front nine. His four birdies on the back nine gave him a second-place finish.

Reed, who has one win since joining LIV Golf, is still not under contract as the LIV Golf season approaches. He is not eligible to return to the PGA Tour via the returning member program because his Masters victory came in 2018.

He had this say after his win in Dubai. “To be able to come so close in ’23, and to have an opportunity today to have a chance to win the golf tournament at the start and see the lead dwindle, it kind of went away; and once I got to the back nine and to be able to play some solid golf on the back to get a very comfortable lead out there for the last couple, it was nice.”

The DP World Tour heads to Bahrain for the Bapco Energies Bahrain Championship. Laurie Canter will look to defend his title against a field that includes Reed, Sergio Garcia, Jayden Schaper and Nacho Elvira.
