2026 Amundi German Masters Preview: Who to Watch

The Ladies European Tour plays its first event in Europe this season at the 2026 Amundi German Masters. This is the only tournament that the LET will play in Germany this season. The Amundi German Masters will be held at Green Eagle Golf Courses in Hamburg, Germany.

2025 winner, Shannon Tan, is in the field this week to defend her title. She claimed her second LET win at the same course in June of 2025.

Green Eagle Golf Courses is a par 73 playing 6,437 yards. The course has hosted the European Open on the DP World Tour seven times, most recently in 2024. The tournament’s purse is €350,000.

Who to Watch at the 2026 Amundi German Masters

Shannon Tan will play in her first LET event since the Aramco Championship in April. So far this season, she has three top 20 finishes in four starts. Tan has three wins on the LET, with her most recent win coming at the Hero Women’s Indian Open in October 2025.

Germany’s highest-ranked golfer on the Ladies European Tour’s Order of Merit is in the field this week. Alexandra Forsterling is looking for her first win this season after finishing in the top 10 five times this season. She is also looking to win the Amundi German Masters for the second time in her career after defeating Austria’s Emma Spitz in a playoff in 2024.

The Amundi German Masters will have 15 players from Germany in the field this week. Esther Henseleit is the highest-ranked German golfer in the field in the Rolex Rankings. Henseleit is currently ranked 45th in the world. She has two wins on the LET Tour and has been on the LPGA Tour since 2020. Henseleit’s best finish in a major was 7th at the Chevron Championship in 2024, and she played for Team Europe in the 2024 Solheim Cup, where she went 1-1-1. She also earned the silver medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
