With the talk on the LPGA Tour going into the week focused on Nelly Korda and Jeeno Thitikul, Lottie Woad took center stage, winning the 2026 Kroger Queen City Championship by two strokes. This is Woad’s second career win on the LPGA Tour.

Woad entered the final round with a commanding three-shot lead over American Amanda Doherty. Woad picked up right where she left off on Saturday, making two birdies in her first five holes. A double bogey on hole six dropped her back to even par for her round. Korea’s Haeran Ryu attempted a charge on the leaderboard, shooting 5-under on the front nine, but stumbled with a bogey and a double bogey on the back nine. With Woad’s main challenger dropping shots on the back nine, she finished her round with one birdie and one bogey on the back nine for a 69 (-1).

This is Woad’s third win on the LPGA and LET within the last year and her first win in 2026. Woad described how tough it is to win every week on tour.

“Each week is usually very strong, so there are not many weeks where it’s not a week with not a strong field. It’s great to beat all those players. At the same time, I feel like most people can win out here, so you’re still trying to beat the rest of the field, too,” she said.

With her win, Woad earned $300,000 in prize money and 500 points in the season-long competition, Race to CME Globe.

World number one, Nelly Korda, finished T-8 this week. After starting the season winning three tournaments and finishing as the runner up in her other three starts, this was the first tournament she looked beatable. Her round of 72 (+2) on Saturday positioned her too far back to make a run on Sunday.

Last week’s winner Jeeno Thitikul finished in seventh this week. Thitikul finished all four of her rounds under par this week, with three of them scoring a 69 (-1).

The LPGA Tour will play next at the ShopRite LPGA powered by Wakefern on May 29th in Wakefern, New Jersey. Jennifer Kupcho will look to defend her title.
