The LPGA Tour returns after a one-week break for the ShopRite LPGA powered by Wakefern. The tournament will be held at Seaview Hotel and Golf Club in Galloway, New Jersey.
The tournament is unusual for the LPGA Tour, as it is a 54-hole event, rather than the traditional 72-hole format. This marks the 38th edition of the tournament and the 36th time it has been contested as a 54-hole event. The tournament was previously played over 72 holes in 1990 and 2020. With the playing of the event this year, ShopRite is the longest-running title sponsor on the LPGA Tour.
The Bay Course at Seaview Hotel and Golf Club is a par 71 playing 6,263 yards. The course was designed by Hugh Wilson and Donald Ross. The course was founded in 1914 and was renovated in 1998 by Robert Cupp Jr. Other than hosting LPGA events, the course hosted the 1942 PGA Championship.
The purse for the 2026 ShopRite LPGA is $2 million, with the winner receiving $300,000.
Who to Watch at the 2026 ShopRite LPGA
With the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open presented by Ally taking place next week, the field this week is not as strong as normal. Only five players in the top 25 of the Rolex Rankings are in the field this week: Charley Hull, Hye Jin Choi, Akie Iwai, Chizzy Iwai and Jennifer Kupcho.
Kupcho, the 2025 champion, is playing to defend her title after she birdied three of her last five holes to hold off Ilhee Lee in the final round. After a fine start to her season, she has played well the past few weeks, finishing inside the top 13 in her last four starts. Kupcho said her slow start is no surprise to her.
“Looking back on it, I started slow from the offseason. I would say compared to most girls, I take a lot of time off. I put my clubs away this year for an entire month during December and January. Most girls don’t do that, so I know I’m going to start rough beginning of the year, and kind of around April, end — beginning of May, I start to come out,” she said.
Another player to watch this week is Brooke Henderson. Henderson won the ShopRite LPGA in 2022 and is looking for her 15th career victory this week. She has made six cuts in eight starts in 2026, with her highest finish of third at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions back in January.
