The 2026 John Deere Classic is back in the Quad Cities for its 54th year. John Deere is the PGA Tour’s second-longest running title sponsor – only AT&T has been a title sponsor longer. The tournament famously gave Michelle Wie sponsor exemptions in 2005 and 2006.

Last year, Brian Campbell defeated Emiliano Grillo on the first playoff hole for his second win of the season.

The John Deere Classic is known for elevating first-time winners. We’ll see who will hoist the trophy this week.

About TPC Deere Run

TPC Deere Run plays 7,327 yards as a par 71. Plenty of birdies are available, but elevation changes throughout the course leave the golfers with many risk-reward opportunities.

The fourth hole saw a drastic change after losing a 100-year-old tree, the fairways were narrowed and the tee was pushed back 35 yards to accommodate new bunkers on either side of the fairway. The course record is held by Paul Goydos, who shot 59 (-12) in the first round in 2010.

Who to Watch at the 2026 John Deere Classic

Campbell is one of nine past former champions in field, with Jordan Spieth, Michael Kim, J.T. Poston and Davis Thompson also looking for another win. Jackson Koivun will be making his first start as a PGA Tour member this week as well.

The World No. 1 amateur and 2026 NCAA Individual winner Preston Stout will be playing in his fourth career PGA Tour event after receiving a sponsor exemption.

We predict Jacob Bridgeman will win for the second time this season. He has made 16 cuts in 17 starts and has four top-10 finishes.
