Casey Jarvis went wire-to-wire to pick up his first career DP World Tour win. The South African defeated Davis Bryant by three strokes to win the 2026 Magical Kenya Open presented by absa.

Jarvis was tied with Angel Ayora to start the final round. Ayora was stuck in neutral all day, shooting an even par 70 to finish in eighth place. Jarvis started and ended the tournament with a pair of 62’s, with the latter round consisting of six birdies and two eagles.

Two different weather delays halted play in the final round. Right before the first weather delay, Jarvis eagled the 12th hole to give himself a two-shot lead. When play resumed, he made birdie on the 13th hole but dropped a shot on the 15th hole with a bogey. After the second weather delay, Jarvis made a birdie on the 17th hole to give himself a two-shot lead yet again. His second eagle of the day on the 18th hole gave him a three-shot victory.

In his last six starts on the DP World Tour, Jarvis has finished top-10 in three of them, including this win. The 22-year-old had this to say in his post-round press conference.

“I’ve actually never won in front of my dad before. I’ve wanted to win in front of him so badly, and to finally do it, I can’t explain to you the emotions. I was so nervous coming down the last two, so it feels great. I can’t explain the emotions – there were so many out there and to finally lift the trophy, it feels amazing.”

This is the second year in a row that a South African golfer has won this event. Last year, Jacques Kruyswijk also won for the first time at this event. This year, he finished T18 at 14-under with four other golfers.

Next on the schedule for the DP World Tour is the Investec South African Open Championship. South Africa native Dylan Naidoo will look to defend his title against a field that includes Ernie Els, Patrick Reed and Freddy Schott. Jarvis and Els are just a couple of the many South African players in the field next week for their National Open.
