Charley Hull kicks off her 2026 season strong with a win on the LET. As a Golf Saudi ambassador, Hull was a highly anticipated participant in this week’s field at the PIF Saudi Ladies International.

A winner on the Riyadh Golf Club from another LET event in 2024, Hull said, “I like how you can be quite aggressive around here. It’s quite a scoreable golf course. It’s a fun track to play. I’ve got a few good memories around here, so every time I come back it makes me smile and I just enjoy it.”

Hull was three shots behind the leader coming into the final round. Afterwards, she shared an anecdote about her boyfriend telling her to “make loads of birdies coming in, you love chasing” and chase she did. Coming in at 7-under, Hull had 7 birdies and an eagle. Despite losing two shots throughout the round, her strong finish won her the title ahead of Akie Iwai and Casandra Alexander, who tied for second one stroke behind Hull.

Iwai, a fellow LPGA Tour player and world number 25, also had 7 birdies in her final round, but two bogeys kept her out of the winner’s circle. “My style of golf is very aggressive. Today I wanted to try [and go for it],” said Iwai. “Everything was good in my game. My driver, my shots and my putting were all good. On number 17, I made a three-putt but it’s not a problem because there’s always next week.”

Though Hull will be returning to the LPGA Tour full time, she currently leads the LET Order of Merit with 500 points as the season opener’s champion.

The LET will have a week off before heading to Australia for the Ford Women’s NSW Open.
