Laura Fünfstück shot a back-nine 32 (-4) to win her first title on the Ladies European Tour at the PIF London Championship. She defeated Ecuador’s Daniela Darquea by one stroke.

Fünfstück started her final round with a three-shot lead over four players. Carlota Ciganda, Manon De Roey, Perrine Delacour and Casandra Alexander started their rounds three back at 6-under for the tournament. Fünfstück’s lead quickly shrunk as she began her round with a double bogey on the third hole, followed by a bogey on the fourth hole. A bogey on the ninth hole dropped Fünfstück to 3-over on her round. A comeback with four birdies in her final seven holes, including the winning birdie on the 18th hole, secured her first victory on the LET.

Fünfstück’s win at the PIF London Championship is her third professional win. She has won the South African Women’s Masters on the Sunshine Ladies Tour and the 2020 Windaroo Lakes ALPG Pro-Am on the ALPG Tour, now the WPGA of Australasia.

With her win, Fünfstück earned €192,997.13 in prize money. She also moved into 11th place in the Ladies European Tour’s Order of Merit.

Mimi Rhodes currently leads Sara Kouskova by about 350 points in the Order of Merit. Shannon Tan is in third place by ten points.

The Ladies European Tour will return at the Hills Open in Sweden from August 22nd to 24th.
