Manon De Roey Wins Australian Women’s Classic

Coffs Harbour in NSW Australia was the host of the 2025 Australia Women's Classic.

Belgian golfer Manon De Roey wins the Australian Women’s Classic after a birdie on the final hole. Going into the final round, De Roey found herself down two strokes to the remarkable comeback story of Sarah Kemp. Having just returned to play after a golf cart injury, Kemp fired a blistering round of 62 on Saturday. However, the 12-time winner fell short on Sunday, shooting a four-over round of 74.

Although Kemp’s lead disappeared after a three-over front nine, another golfer jumped right into the mix. Cara Gainer started the final round two shots behind De Roey and turned up the pressure on the back nine. She birdied the par-five 17th and the par-four 18th to card a 68. De Roey battled on the front nine, scoring two birdies and two bogeys to be at even par at the turn. She made eight consecutive pars on the back nine and the tournament-winning birdie on the 18th to claim her third win on the Ladies European Tour (LET).

The LET will continue next week in Australia at the Ford Women’s NSW Open. De Roey will aim to go back-to-back while last year’s winner, Mariajo Uribe, will not be in the field. This is the LET’s last tournament in Australia before they move on to two events in South Africa.
