Mi Hyang Lee won the 2026 Blue Bay LPGA by defeating Weiwei Zhang by one stroke. This is Lee’s first win since the 2017 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open and third win of her career.
Lee started the day with a three-stroke lead but that quickly faded after a rough first nine holes. She made two bogeys and two double bogeys en route to shooting a 40(+4). Zhang shot a 2-under-34 that included an eagle and two birdies to take the lead with nine holes to play.

Lee steadied the ship early on the back nine with two birdies to close the gap. Zhang made it to 11-under before bogeying the 17th hole. Lee birdied the last hole to secure her first victory in eight years.
For Lee this event is one where she has played well in the last couple years. In her last appearances here, she has finished T22 or better in all of them. In two of three of her wins, she has converted the 54-hole lead to win. She is the first player from the Republic of Korea to win this season and fourth different winner in the four events in 2026.
Lee had this to say about winning for the first time since 2017: “Still kind of a little bit shake in my hands, and was first hole make birdie, but like two double front nine and then finish 4-over so was almost give up, but my caddie just kept telling me keep fighting, fighting. So I really fought, just didn’t give up, and then I just got to make a lot of birdie, so I think amazing. Feels amazing, yes.”
The next event on the LPGA Tour is the Fortinet Founders Cup in two weeks. Yealimi Noh will look to defend her title against a field that includes Nelly Korda, Rio Takeda and Jeeno Thitikul.
