Michael Brennan defeated Rico Hoey by four shots to win the Bank of Utah Championship. This was his third career PGA Tour start and first win as a professional.

Brennan held a two-shot lead over the defending champion, Matt McCarty, after three rounds. Both players shot rounds of 7-under-64 to be three shots ahead, with three golfers in second place at 14-under.

The fourth round started the same way the third round ended for Brennan—with five birdies. He ended up with 31 on the front nine to reach a five-shot lead heading to the back nine. Meanwhile, McCarty struggled on the front nine, carding three bogeys and two birdies to shoot 37 and fall eight shots behind the leader.

Brennan made his first bogey in 25 holes on the 10th hole, but he recovered by making birdies at the par-4 12th and 14th holes. He bogeyed the 18th hole but still won by four shots.

Brennan finished first on the PGA Tour Americas season-long standings after winning three times on that circuit this summer. With that accomplishment, he earned a fully exempt Korn Ferry Tour membership for the 2026 season. But with this win, he is fully exempt on the PGA Tour through the 2027 season, effective immediately. He is the first player to win on a sponsor exemption since Nick Dunlap at the 2024 American Express.

The next stop on the PGA Tour is in Mexico for the World Wide Technology Championship. Austin Eckroat is the defending champion and is one of four past champions in the field.
