Scottie Scheffler defeated Si Woo Kim by eight strokes to win the 2026 FedEx St. Jude Championship. The eight-stroke win is the greatest margin of victory this season on the PGA Tour

This is his second win of the season, with the first coming at the American Express in January. It also marks Scheffler’s 21st career win on the PGA Tour. He became the third youngest player to that mark, behind only Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus. His 21 wins over the last five seasons are 10 more than Rory McIlroy, who has the second most with 11 wins.

With this victory, Scheffler also becomes the fifth player to win multiple times this season, joining Matt Fitzpatrick, Chris Gotterup, Wyndham Clark and Cameron Young. It is Scheffler’s fifth consecutive season with multiple wins as well.

Scheffler had the best putting week of his career, gaining +9.04 strokes on the greens.

“I had a really good week on the greens and my approach play as well,” he said. “I was able to give myself a lot of looks and putt aggressively from there.”

Kim finished runner-up for the third time this season. He has the second-most top-10 finishes this season with 11, behind only Scheffler’s 12. Kim sits at No. 4 in the FedExCup standings and is the only player in the top five without a win.

The top 50 in the FedExCup points list are in the field for the next leg of the playoffs. Sungjae Im was the only player to move into the top 50 after his T5 finish. Keith Mitchell fell out of the top 50 after his T34 finish.

The second event of the playoffs is the BMW Championship at Bellerive Country Club in St. Louis, Missouri. In the 2025 BMW Championship, Scheffler earned his fifth win of the season by defeating Robert MacIntyre.
