Anna Huang made a huge impression last week after winning the La Sella Open at just 16 years old. One week later, and she’s done it again. Huang went 68-64-65 to win the 2025 Lacoste Ladies Open de France by two strokes.

“I’m honestly just so shocked right now! I don’t think I have fully processed my last win and then to win again is just so crazy,” said Huang.

Huang knew she was tied with her playmate Helen Briem of Germany till the 16th hole. Huang birdied 16 and then went on to birdie 18 to cement her win. South Africa’s Cassandra ‘Rsa’ Alexander also tied for second after a strong final round of 66.

“It was super fun to play with Helen and we were going back and forth the whole round,” said Huang. “I think we were tied until the 16th hole and it was pretty nerve-wracking. Up until 18 I wasn’t too nervous, which was weird and strange, but the nerves started hitting me when I was hitting my approach shot.”

Huang is now the only Canadian to have won twice on the LET. She is also the third player this season to win back-t0-back, joining Mimi Rhodes and Sara Kouskova in their success. Huang’s two wins have now bumped her up to 9th on the LET Merit of Order.

Huang turned pro in January, so she has been able to collect the winnings from each of her wins. When asked how she’ll spend some of the money, she said, “I’m going to go home and go to China and see some of my family who I haven’t seen in about 10 years. I might also buy myself something nice. I’m going to have the same mindset for the rest of the year and keep working hard because it’s paying off.”
