As the glasses space continues to grow, especially in the game of golf, TITE Eyewear made its debut at this year’s PGA Show and truly separated itself from the rest – with a focus on the greens as well as those ultraviolet rays.
Casey Raymer from Treeline PR and Marketing has had a close-up role in preparing for TITE’s official release next month and provided an even closer look at what the newest addition to the links has to offer. Fairway to Green’s Annie Watson spoke with Raymer ahead of the PGA Show.
Annie Watson: How does TITE’s technology differ from other similar products on the market, both within and outside of golf wearables?
Casey Raymer: TITE offers ultralight, comfortable eyewear designed specifically for golf with patent-pending lens technology that fundamentally differs from traditional sunglasses. Rather than simply blocking light like conventional sunglasses, TITE lenses filter precise wavelengths of visible light to vividly enhance the green spectrum, what golfers actually need to see on the course. This means maximizing contrast, depth perception and revealing the subtle contours and breaks that are critical for green-reading and shot execution.
Other “golf-specific” lenses on the market primarily focus on color tinting or UV protection, but extensive field testing showed these weren’t giving golfers what they truly needed. TITE was engineered from the ground up – with input from elite players and tour caddies – to control and quiet visual noise, letting more targeted light in so players get more visual information while preserving natural color and essential surface detail. The proprietary TITE-TILT™ fit adjustment system also ensures lenses stay optically centered during swings and putts, which is unique to golf’s specific movements. TITE isn’t an accessory adapted for golf—it’s a precision tool built exclusively for the game.
A.W.: How is your company’s technology evolving or helping to evolve the market of wearables in the golf space? Is there any room for growth outside of golf, or will your company hone in on only golf consumers?
C.R.: Our technology demonstrates that eyewear can provide a competitive advantage on the course by enhancing how players perceive breaks, read greens and process visual information critical to shot-making decisions.
We’re shifting the perception of eyewear in golf from an accessory to essential performance equipment. We’re proving that “golf-specific” can mean true performance engineering, not simply slapping a sport label on existing sunglasses. Players are used to asking, “What equipment can give me an edge?”—TITE adds eyewear to that conversation.
TITE Eyewear is 100% focused on golf consumers. We’re a golf brand through and through. While there may be future opportunities outside of golf, our commitment right now is singular: building the best performance eyewear for golfers and establishing ourselves as a leader in this category.
A.W.: How does TITE balance between lifestyle/casual consumers and hardcore golf consumers? Do the marketing and technology tactics differ, or do you approach these audiences largely the same?
C.R.: Golfers at all levels can benefit from TITE’s lens technology and above-standard UV415 protection, so our core message about performance and visual advantage remains consistent across audiences.
As a brand just launching, we’ve partnered with three PGA Sections in year one – the Carolinas, Northern Texas and North Florida – giving us direct access to PGA Professionals who influence equipment decisions and work with golfers daily. These partnerships allow us to activate at competitive championships where performance matters most, while also reaching club members and recreational players through these trusted golf communities.
Our approach is to get eyewear on players’ faces because we know that once they experience the benefits of TITE’s lens technology – seeing breaks more clearly and reading greens with greater confidence – it becomes a launch pad for organic growth through word-of-mouth and on-course visibility. The technology works for all golfers; we’re just starting with those who are most likely to recognize and value that competitive edge immediately.
A.W.: How did TITE’s presence at the PGA Show allow for opportunities for growth and brand awareness?

C.R.: The PGA Show marks TITE Eyewear’s official brand debut. We’re networking directly with retail buyers from golf shops, sporting goods retailers and resort pro shops who can bring TITE to golfers nationwide. We’re connecting with media who cover golf equipment innovation and can help tell our story. We’re meeting with PGA Professionals who are tastemakers and influencers in their communities. And we’re getting immediate feedback from industry insiders who can test our eyewear firsthand at Demo Day and at our booth in the Innovator’s Spotlight.
The PGA Show is where relationships begin, distribution channels open and brand awareness builds momentum. We’re just getting started, and it’s the kickoff for everything that follows in year one and beyond.
A.W.: With the growth of artificial intelligence and increased accessibility in user technologies like TITE Eyewear, how does your company plan on evolving to ensure security in the golf wearables market? Does AI pose more threats or opportunities? How?
C.R.: While AI is advancing across countless industries, we view it as a tool and opportunity rather than a threat to physical performance eyewear like TITE. Golf requires real-world visual performance, and AI can’t replace the need to read greens, judge distances or perceive terrain. AI presents opportunities for TITE in areas like lens engineering optimization, manufacturing precision, customer service and potentially future integrations with smart golf technologies. TITE’s fundamental value is filtering light wavelengths to enhance on-course vision, which is rooted in optical physics and human perception, not something AI can replace.
TITE’s patent-pending lens technology and exclusive focus on golf-specific performance gives us defensible market differentiation. As golf technology becomes more sophisticated overall, players will increasingly demand performance advantages in every aspect of their equipment, including eyewear. TITE is positioned to be the category leader as that evolution unfolds.
