The KLM Open has been played since 1912 but did not become a part of the DP World Tour schedule until 1972. Only four other National Opens are older than The Dutch Open. This is the fourth of six events on the European Swing portion of the schedule. Three Dutch players have won their National Open, with the most recent being Joost Luiten in 2013 and 2016.

In the 2025 KLM Open, Connor Syme defeated Joakim Lagergren by two strokes.

About The International

The International plays 6,914 yards as a par 71. Designed by 29-time DP World Tour winner Ian Woosman, the course is on a hilly terrain that features large, fast greens and dangerous water hazards. The course record at The International is 64 (-7), set by Ricardo Gouveia in 2025.

Who to Watch at the 2026 KLM Open

Syme and Luiten will be in the field looking for another win at this event. Former major champions Danny Willett and Francesco Molinari are also in the field that includes reigning U.S. Amateur Champion Mason Howell.

Howell had this to say about his expectations for himself this week: “I just want to put four solid rounds together and see what I can take away from playing a different style of golf than what I’m used to and see how my game adapts.

We predict Bernd Wiesberger will pick up his 10th career win. He has four top-13 finishes in his last five starts, including a win at the 2026 Volvo China Open.
