The Ladies European Tour continues its stretch in Africa this week at the Investec South African Women’s Open. This is the second of two tournaments being held in South Africa and in partnership with the Sunshine Ladies Tour. The tournament will be held at Royal Cape Golf Club in Cape Town, South Africa.

Last year’s winner, Perrine Delacour, will not be in the field this week due to her playing in The Chevron Championship on the LPGA Tour.

Royal Cape Golf Club is a par 73 playing 6,288 yards. The tournament’s purse is €350,000.

Who to Watch at the 2026 Investec South African Women’s Open

Last week’s winner from the Joburg Ladies Open, Agathe Laisne, will look for her third victory of the season. Laisne is currently in first place in the Ladies European Tour’s Order of Merit, and has two wins and a runner-up finish already this season.

Caitlyn Macnab will be in the field this week looking for her second win on the Sunshine Ladies Tour. Macnab was born in Johannesburg. She won the South Africa Women’s Amateur back-to-back years in 2020 and 2021.

Macnab won the 2021 Jabra Ladies Open as an amateur. She also won the 2025 SEC Championship as a part of the Ole Miss Rebels women’s golf team, and she is in the field this week as a professional searching for her first professional victory.
