Carolina Chacarra shot a bogey-free final round of 68 (-4) to win the 2026 Hulencourt Women’s Open. This is her first career professional victory and only her third start on the Ladies European Tour.

Going into the final round, Australia’s Kelsey Bennett led by two shots over Chacarra. The only other players with a chance on Sunday were India’s Aditi Ashok and Diksha Dagar, who were five shots behind. Bennett had trouble scoring early, not making her first birdie until the 14th hole. She finished with just two birdies and three bogeys, settling for a round of 73 (+1).

Chacarra was the opposite of Bennett, making two birdies early to take the lead after nine holes. She extended her lead by making two more birdies on the back nine to win by three shots over Bennett.

It has been a successful month for the Chacarra family, after Eugenio Chacarra – Carolina’s brother – won the KLM Open and the DS Automobiles Open d’Italia in June. Carolina Chacarra earned her LET and LPGA Tour card through Q-School last year. She was thrilled after winning in just her third start on the Ladies European Tour.

“The day went great, and I’m so happy,” the Spanish rookie said. “I was definitely nervous, especially the last three holes. I had a little bit of adrenaline, so I was telling my caddie we needed to take some metres off the yardage. But it was great. My goal was just to enjoy the week and try to get into the Scottish Open. So to win is amazing and I’m very happy.”

With her win, Chacarra earned a spot in the ISPS Handa Scottish Open and AIG Women’s Open. She also earned €52,500 in prize money and 500 points in the LET Order of Merit. South Africa’s Casandra Alexander remains in first place in the standings.

It is the second runner-up finish for Bennett after holding the lead going into the final round. She finished runner-up to Anna Huang at the 2026 Lalla Meryem Cup.

The Ladies European Tour will continue next week with the LPGA at the Amundi Evian Championship. This is the fourth major of the season.
