After a week off, the Epson Tour makes its way to Pendleton, Or., for the 2026 Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic. Following Mirabel Ting’s first tour win over Rachel Kuehn in a playoff at the Smoky Mountain Championship, athletes will compete Aug. 21-23, 2026.
The fifth rendition of the tournament will take place at the par-72 Wildhorse Resort Golf Course, featuring lush fairways against a prairie terrain. Julia Gregg (2025) and Pavarisa Yoktuan (2022) have tied the 18-hole course record at 62 (-10).
This week’s purse totals $250,000 with $37,500 and 500 Race for the Card points for the winner. Last year’s champion Erika Hara will not be returning to defend her title, having since moved on to the LPGA Tour after successfully ending in the top 15 in the 2025 Race for the Card.
Who to Watch at the 2026 Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic
Among this week’s field are players who have shown consistency, poise and competence to win.
Lauryn Nguyen: Rookie With a Win Already Under Her Belt
Joining the tour for the 2026 season, Lauryn Nguyen has shown she has what it takes to secure a win. At the FireKeepers Casino Hotel Championship, Nguyen placed first at 12-under, taking home $30,000 and 500 Race for the Card points. Since then, she has racked up several top finishes, the most recent being T8 at the Greater Toledo Classic. She is currently sitting at No. 12 on the Race for the Card leaderboard, and if she continues this momentum, she could see a top-15 spot come October.
Sarah White: Epson Tour Veteran Searching for Top Finish
Sarah White has been on tour since 2020, making 5 of 13 cuts this 2026 season. In 2025 alone, however, she made 12 of 18 cuts, had two top-10 finishes and made her way up the ranks to No. 48 on the Race for the Card. Her highest finish in 2025 was T6 at the Island Resort Championship. White competed in the 2018 U.S. Women’s Amateur Championship at the Golf Club of Tennessee and finished fifth at the 2020 Texarkana Children Charities Open on the Women’s All Pro Tour as an amateur.
White’s finish at Smoky Mountain Championship at T29 shows that she still can find a way to come out on top, as she rose in the ranks after last tournament.
Sponsor Invites: Collegiate Stars Entering the Field
Idaho native Gabby Barker is among the invited players this week. This will be her second tournament this season after she finished T55 at the Copper Rock Championship in May. The Texas Tech University alum has a large Instagram presence of about 34,000 followers. In her most recent video, she shows fans a practice round at the Wildhorse Golf Course in preparation for Friday’s first round start. From the fairways to greens, Barker gives a first-hand look at how the course is shaping up for the competition.
Kaylyn Noh, a 22-year-old and University of California Berkeley alum, also scored an invite this weekend. During high school, Noh qualified for the 2019 CIF State Championship and was inducted into Rocklin High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame. Her collegiate career includes four top-10 finishes during her freshman season at California Polytechnic State University and two rounds of 5-under-par as a junior at Berkeley. At the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open, Noh made her professional debut.
One of many local connections this week is Victoria Gailey, a Tigard, Or., local. Growing up, Gailey would play at Broadmoor and Rose City in northeast Portland. She returns to the event where she debuted as a professional – the 2023 Wildhorse Ladies Golf Classic. A collegiate stand-out, the Oregon local played in all ten events her team entered in her freshman season. With knowledge of the landscape surrounding the course, Gailey has an advantage going into the tournament.
