Hyo Joo Kim won her second tournament in two months at this week’s Aramco Korea Championship, a title she was defending from her win there last year. Kim won the LPGA’s Ford Championship in March, defeating Lilia Vu in a playoff.

Kim entered the final round leading by one stroke over South Africa’s Lee-Anne Pace and two strokes over Daniela Darquea and Perrine Delacour. It was a classy round from Kim, apart from a bogey on the par-three fourth. Her three birdies on the back nine pushed her to a two-stroke victory over Switzerland’s Chiara Tamburlini. Kim had this to say after defending her title.

“As a winner of last year’s championship, people all around me kept telling me ‘you have to win this time as well’ – I had that in my mind the whole time,” Kim said. “I think it’s a great win today.
With this victory, Kim earned $225,000. The LET will be back in action in two weeks at the Dutch Ladies Open in the Netherlands.
