Ryan Fox Chips in to Win ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic

The 2025 ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic took place at The Dunes Golf and Beach Club.

Ryan Fox defeated Harry Higgs and Mackenzie Hughes on the first playoff hole to earn his first career PGA Tour win at the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic.

Heading into the final round, Carson Young sat atop the crowded leaderboard with a one-shot lead over Higgs, who was sitting at 12-under. Hughes was two shots back while Fox and four other golfers were tied for fourth, three shots behind the leader.

Standing on the 18th tee, Hughes held a one-shot lead over Fox and Higgs. But his tee shot went into the trees on the left side of the fairway, forcing him to lay up on his second shot. His third shot left him 10 feet for par and the win, but his putt slid just past the hole on the right side. His bogey dropped him to a three-way tie and forced a playoff with Higgs and Fox.

The leaders headed back to 18 for the first playoff hole. Fox was the only player of the three to miss the fairway off the tee. Hughes hit his approach shot to 15 feet, Higgs hit his to 25 feet and Fox hit his to 53 feet in the intermediate rough. After holing out his chip from just off the green, Fox forced Hughes and Higgs to make their putts to extend the playoff. Both players ended up missing their birdie putts, and Fox walked away with the victory.

Next week, the PGA Championship is back at Quail Hollow Club for the first time since 2017, when Justin Thomas picked up his first major title. This time, defending champion Xander Schauffele will look to stand out again in one of the most competitive events of the year.
