French golf prodigy Martin Couvra took on the Regnum Carya Golf and Spa Resort course to win the 2025 Turkish Airlines Open. The 22-year-old shot a 7-under final round of 64 to claim the victory.

Couvra had a strong performance this tournament, posting a bogey-free second round of 5-under to lead with 11-under going to the third round.

When asked if he would change his game plan going into the weekend, Couvra responded, “No, absolutely not. I just try to keep the same mindset on the golf course. Just keep on me every day and that’s it.”

In the third round, Couvra dropped the lead to 10-under after shooting one over. Meanwhile, Englishman Brandon Robinson Thompson tied the course record of 62, taking the lead at 14-under going to the final round.

Couvra refused to back down, though, recording four birdies during the first six holes to get back into contention and tie the lead with Haotong Li and Robinson Thompson at 14-under.

After faltering on the 8th hole and dropping to second place, Couvra put himself back in contention with a birdie on the 9th hole. Li took the lead after also scoring a birdie on the 9th, while Couvra dropped to 13-under after bogeying the 10th.

The young pro picked himself up, making three birdies in a row from the 11th to the 13th hole. Another birdie on the 15th saw him finish the round with an overall score of 17-under.

Couvra, who graduated from the HotelPlanner Tour, has had four top-10 finishes in his rookie year, with his first win at this Turkish Airlines Open. It’s his 15th start in his rookie season on the DP World Tour.

“It is just amazing to win in my first year on the DP World Tour. It’s just a dream,” Couvra commented after the win. “I wake up in the morning to win tournaments, but to win as early as this is just amazing, I’m really happy.”

Li and Jorge Campillo finished close behind Couvra at 15-under, while Thompson finished fourth after shooting 72 to finish the tournament at 13-under.
