Moore, Popert in the Hunt for 3rd and 4th U.S. Adaptive Open Titles

After play today at the 2026 U.S. Adaptive Open, the cut line was determined. In order to advance to the final round, a player must fit in one of the following categories:

  • Top 10 and ties for women and top 20 and ties for men
  • Top two women and ties and top three men and ties from each impairment category, plus any player
    within five strokes of their impairment category leader after two rounds

Yesterday, defending champions Kim Moore and Kipp Popert were atop the leaderboard. That didn’t change today. Moore shot another 76 (+4) to lead by one over Sunyoung Kim. Popert shot 67 (-5) to gain a 3-shot lead over Justin Carlock.
