The LPGA Tour returns to the United States this week at the Fortinet Founders Cup. The tournament will be held at Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club in Menlo Park, California.
This is the 15th edition of the Founders Cup, but this is the first year with Fortinet as the title partner. This is also the first year Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club will be hosting the tournament.
American Yealimi Noh will look to defend her title after her four-stroke victory over Jin Young Ko at Bradenton Country Club last year.
Sharon Heights Golf and Country Club is a par 72 playing 6,542 yards. The tournament’s purse has increased by $1 million to $3 million this year.
Who to Watch at the 2026 Fortinet Founders Cup
The LPGA’s first tournament in the United States since January has plenty of big names in the field this week. Seven of the top 10 of the Rolex Rankings are in the field.
Nelly Korda is making her first start since her win at the 2026 Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions in January. Korda says the time off was spent doing a variety of activities.
“I just kind of worked out a lot in the gym and then started practicing. So a lot of time is just kind of setting up a routine. I cooked a lot at home, which was really nice,” she said. “I really enjoyed being around my family, but I did grind a lot, too.”
After winning for the first time at the Founders Cup last season, Noh looks to build off her successful season, which consisted of a win, five top 10’s and $1.1 million in earnings. Noh struggled in her last start, where she finished T65 at the HSBC Women’s World Championship in Singapore. Noh says this week means a little more to her.
“I think I really tried to focus on trusting my process and just focusing on my process and not thinking about results. I mean, not only is it my defending week, but also in my hometown. It’s a little bit extra special, more something, a little nerves and pressure if you call it that,” she said.
Other big names in the field this week include the following:
