Scott Jamieson won the 2026 Nexo Championship by two strokes over Matthew Jordan, marking the second straight year a Scottish golfer won in his home country, as Grant Forrest won the 2025 Nexo Championship.
This was Jamieson’s second career win on the DP World Tour and first in 14 years since the 2012 Nelson Mandela Championship presented by ISPS HANDA.
“Fourteen years, that’s wild. It’s just so tough, so hard to win. I was so patient all day… just can’t believe I’ve won,” Jamieson said.
Heading into the week, he had only made the cut 10 times in 19 starts, with his best finish a T9 at the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open. Battling for many years to keep his DP World Tour card, Jamieson’s final-round 67 (-5) moved him from 135th to 42nd in the Race to Dubai Rankings and earned a two-year exemption on the tour.
Being the Closing Swing winner, Jamieson also received a $200,000 bonus and exemptions into the 2026 BMW PGA Championship and the final nine tournaments of the 2026 DP World Tour schedule before the playoffs begin.
The DP World Tour next heads to England for the Husqvarna British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo. In last year’s tournament, Alex Noren won his second British Masters by defeating Kazuma Kobori and Nicolai Højgaard by one stroke. Three players in the top 10 of the Race to Dubai Rankings—Jayden Schaper, Patrick Reed and Eugenio Chacarra—highlight the field next week.
