Zimbabwean Kieran Vincent recorded his second win on the Sunshine Tour after his victory in the Waterfall City Tournament of Champions. The tournament, supported by Attacq and WCMC, was held at Royal Johannesburg.
Vincent recorded a final round of 70 and signed a total score of 18-under-par, winning the Waterfall City Tournament by four strokes. Second on the leaderboard was the 2024/25 Order of Merit winner, Daniel van Tonder, at 14-under after shooting a final round of 70. His win came after sinking an eagle putt on the 18th.
Vincent had to fight for his win after recording a nine on the par-4 third hole. “Well, the first one went out of bounds, and the second one followed suit. Once the second one goes out of bounds, you start to get really nervous,” he commented.

Not one to give up, the Zimbabwean shook off his nervousness and staged his comeback. “Me and my team have been talking about fighting for a while, and that’s what was ringing in my head. Walking off the third green towards the fourth tee, I told myself the only way we can go through this is if we fight.”
True to his word, he fought back and recorded 7 birdies to take him straight to the winner’s circle.
After the win, Vincent said, “Credit to my team throughout the last couple of months for instilling a lot in me to be able to fight like the way we did today. A lot goes on when you play a nine-hole loop, and it’s my first time doing that. I really enjoyed it. All in all, it was a great day.”
