World No. 5 Miyu Yamashita made her presence known yet again on the Ladies European Tour, this time at the 2026 Aramco Korea Championship. After winning the 2025 AIG Women’s Open, Yamashita fired a final round 63 (-9) to break the course record and add a second LET title to her résumé.
Holding the lead since the second round, Yamashita continued her bogey-free streak and opened her final round with four birdies in the first ten holes. She went on to make birdie on holes 13, 14 and 16 before making eagle on the 17th hole.
“I’m so happy. Today my shot, my putting, everything was feeling so good. I had trust in my game. I like this course,” said Yamashita. “It’s my first time playing this tournament and I’m so happy to win, and I also didn’t think I could win so many times, so I’m happy about that.”
This is Yamashita’s third win of the year. She has also won the Meijer LPGA Classic and CPKC Women’s Open.
LET winner Sara Kouskova also shot 63 (-9) today, sharing the record books with Yamashita. She finished in solo second, three strokes back.
“It’s been such a good day, it’s just topped off a really good week. I’m really happy with how we played and I couldn’t have done much better golf today honestly,” said Kouskova. “I couldn’t catch [Miyu] even with this because I thought if I have a really low one today, it could be good. I’m still so pumped. I tried to put one foot in front of the other and stayed really calm during the whole day.”
LET Order of Merit leader Casandra Alexander finished T30 this week yet has increased her lead to 2,956.48 points heading into the final events of the season.
While defending champion Hyo Joo Kim shot a 66 (-6) in the final round, it wasn’t enough to get her to the podium. She finished T7, nine strokes back of Yamashita.
The Ladies European Tour has a week off before the 2026 Hero Women’s Indian Open, where Shannon Tan will look to defend her title.
